Volunteer at CASS! Move life forward one day at a time Volunteers play a critical role in helping CASS to empower men, women and children to end their homelessness. CASS offers many rewarding, creative and exciting volunteer opportunities which allow you to play a vital role in working directly and indirectly to end homelessness. CASS offers a number of off-site and on-site projects that individuals or groups can perform. Individual Volunteer Opportunities Please take a look at our many volunteer opportunities and consider joining our volunteer team. We may have a role that is just right for you! Click here for the volunteer job descriptions. We invite you to come down to CASS for our Volunteer Orientation. You will learn more about our shelter services and about our Volunteer Program. Our Orientations are every 2nd Tuesday of the month, 5:30 pm, at the Downtown Shelter (230 S. 12th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85007). To RSVP, please click "Volunteer Orientation Sign-Up" below. How To Become a CASS Volunteer and Individual Volunteer Requirements For the safety and well being of the men, women and children we serve, our volunteer application and screening process is extensive. Our intent is not to overwhelm prospective volunteers, but rather to meet all licensing requirements and provide volunteers with a successful and meaningful volunteer experience.

Volunteer Opportunities
We encourage groups of varying size to help us in a variety of ways. The opportunities are only limited by your creativity! Some examples are: off-site donation drives, special events, deep cleaning, painting, repairing window screens, picking up trash surrounding the property, fundraising and sorting clothes.
